The Universe

For the past week I’ve been watching shows on the Universe, The Moon and the planets. While I was watching I was building something, a LEGO spacecraft and lunar rover!

I learned that the Russians were the first people to send a man into space, a few months later so did NASA, NASA was also the first to send a man to the Moon and back, since June of 1969 13 people have set foot on the Moon. NASA has recently sent a spacecraft to Pluto and it will arrive there in June of 2015.

Personal Response
How did you react to what happens to Brian in chapters 6–12? What went through your mind at the end of chapter 12?

He was lucky enough to find food and shelter, as well as not being attacked by a bear!  but on the down side a airplane flew over, so luck isn't completely on his side.

16 February 2014

This Saturday I had two hours of swimming in the morning, then two more hours of baseball that night. Swimming was kind of tough but we got let out fifteen minutes early, that was nice. Baseball wasn't super tough but we did the "beep test"-The beep test is running a certain distance before you hear a beep, the beep gets faster and faster until you can't make it anymore- my legs were in pain when I woke up this morning.I am exited for the next pass meet when I can get my LMR times! The baseball was tryouts for the Pee-wee AAA rep team, the first two are open and anyone can come, but after that it is invitation only.
